I'm making an tracking app, I need sample data please :)

Hello guys,

I'm making an ios tracking app and clearly fitbit doesn't offer a sandbox environment, therefore i'm unable to test if everything is working fine with the API responses.

Can someone please share with me a week or a month worth of dummy data? Thank you

Hi @devhdidi 

Fitbit doesn't have sample data sets for you to use.  However, there are several ways you can get sample data into a Fitbit account to test your application

1. Wear a Fitbit device that is paired with your test Fitbit user account and walk around for a few minutes
2. Setup MobileTrack on your test Fitbit user's account and walk around for a few minutes
3. You can manually enter data through the Web application or mobile application
4. Use the Fitbit Web APIs to insert data into your test Fitbit user account

Of course, wearing a device will give you the most data.  Options 2-4 should give you everything else except for the endpoints that require heart rate data.
