Is OAuth2 slow at the moment?

I rolled up my traffic so that 25% uses OAuth2 and I noticed that the slowest requests are taking longer. Is this expected becauase OAuth2 requests may need to refresh?

OAuth 2.0 requests should be faster in general. Are you refreshing access tokens more frequently than once an hour?
