I have a fitbit account created with my work email. I use this account for development purpose and use it to create and manage fitbit apps, request intraday data. As fitbit accounts are moving to google accounts, I tried to move this account to google account. However, since it's an work email and managed by our organization, I was unable to transfer the account. How can I move to new account system?

@GordonFitbit I’d appreciate it if you could point me to the right process.

Hi @diptopol
Thank you for your patience. You should be able to migrate your work email to a Google account, unless your account is a Google Workspace account. Google Workspace accounts are not supported with Fitbit services. The only workaround we have is for you to create a Fitbit user using a non-Google Workspace account (i.e. gmail.com). You should be able to migrate your existing Fitbit account (corporate email) to this new email address, and your applications will be associated with the new email address.
If this doesn't work for you, create a support ticket in Issue Tracker requesting your applications be transferred to your new account.

The current fitbit account is associated with a google workspace account. Is switching to a non-Workspace account the only option for using a Fitbit account for development purposes?I’d like to understand all possible approaches before making a decision. Would it be appropriate to create a support ticket in the issue tracker to explore the feasibility of using a Workspace account with Fitbit services?
