No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' Error in Chrome and Firefox.

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://api.fitbit.com/1/user/-/activities/date/2015-02-18.json?cursor=-1&screen_name=fitbit. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access

This shows up only in Chrome and Firefox. In Safari it works with no problem.

Connection to the API is made with JQuery.

Any idea how to solve this problem?
