During a sleep event, a person may experience periods of being awake which the person may not realize. It could be something as simple as turning over. We have a section in the documentation explaining how to interpret sleep data. See https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/developer-guide/best-practices/#Interpreting-the-Slee.... The content is related to sleep "stage" logs but you can apply the same principles to the "classic" logs.
