Refresh token error

I have implemented an app based on the fitbit api. I also have an user management function over the already existing fitbit accounts. For a certain user, I keep getting an invalid token error, then after some time it refreshes by itself. For the other users, everything works completely fine, so I think it is an issue with the API. What can I do? Why do I have trouble requesting a new access token with the refresh token only for one user, and for the rest it works fine?
