Hi all,
We have a couple of users who use our platform infrequently and haven't been seen for a while but we are still getting subscription notifications about their activities. However, their access tokens expired and for some reason their refresh tokens are invalid. How can we remove subscriptions for such users?
Because of the lack of valid access tokens and refresh tokens pairs, we cannot use Revoke Token endpoint, Get Subscriptions endpoint, Delete Subscription endpoint.
Below refresh tokens are invalid and we cannot sync any activities for those users:

When using Refresh Token resource, we get the following error:
{"errors":[{"errorType":"invalid_grant","message":"Refresh token invalid: 1506759741657308a68480500286b2a59c2698539254bbb8f62111e07f93efc4. Visit https://dev.fitbit.com/docs/oauth2 for more information on the Fitbit Web API authorization process."}],"success":false}
Thanks,
Marcin Karmelita

Hi @krml,
Looks like your application may have lost sync with the latest tokens for these users. There's no way to remove the subscriptions without having a valid access_token unfortunately. You'll have to reach out to these Fitbit users and ask them to go through your authorization flow again to obtain a new access_token and refresh_token pair. The new tokens will override your desynced tokens and you'll be able to remove the subscriptions from their account.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi @JohnFitbit,
Thanks for the quick reply. I have already tried reaching out to those people, but unfortunately, they ignored my messages. Most likely they abandoned our platform.
Is there a way you can help me remove those Fitbit users' subscriptions?
Cheers.

Hi @JohnFitbit,
We contacted those users several times but they ignore our requests.
Is there a chance that you can remove those subscriptions for me, please?
Thanks!

@krml Sorry to hear that. I'll create a support case for you and I'll see what we can do for you. Is it okay if I contact you with the email associated to your Fitbit account?
