SmartTrack activity names

ANSWERED

Hi!

At eGym we have recently developed an integration with a Fitbit. We're mapping Fitbit activities by name with our own exercise library to show them to the users on our platform. However, we faced some naming problems with smart tracked activities. We use the activity names that come from

method as a reference of what activites exist for Fitbit. We found that some smart tracked activities like biking have a name "Outdoor biking" and these names are not listed when we call the endpoint mentioned above. It makes it hard to map these activity names on our side because we need to know concrete activity names for mapping. Are there any documentation somewhere regarding activity names that can be received by smart tracked enabled devices? I haven't found any myself except the ones that are listed in a smart track decription page on a website.

Thank you,

Dmitry Avershin.

@dmitraver Ah, I guess you're right. Well here's the six possible SmartTrack activity names (exactly how they will show up on a user's profile):

  1. Walk
  2. Run
  3. Outdoor Bike
  4. Elliptical
  5. Sport
  6. Aerobic Workout
