When will Fitbit Studio become available to developers?

I'm looking into developing apps/watchfaces for the Fitbit Ionic.  I know Fitbit Studio http://studio.fitbit.com should be available this month (September).  But I was wondering which day the launch will be available to developers?   Thanks
