"Keep me logged in" option not working in login screen

Hi, I have integrated fitbit API in my healthcare mobile app. When accessing the API for the first time, I am redirected to the login screen. In the login screen, "Keep me logged in" checkbox is provided. I kept this option unchecked and logged in.Next time when I try to access the app, I should be redirected to the login screen. But currently, I am getting logged in automatically. How "Keep me logged in" functionality works?

Additional information:I am using InAppBrowser for logging into FitBit.
