Did you mean:

we had a few response message "HTTP request failed!" today

This is the error message we received

Request URI:
 Message: -->
OAuth::fetch(https://api.fitbit.com/1/user/-/activities/date/2014-12-01.json😞
failed to open stream: HTTP request failed!
 Filepath:/home/sprout/public_html/sprout/application/libraries/vendor/fitb
it/fitbitphp.php
- Line Number401

Should we be alarmed by this? Our main source of data synchronization is pubsub but we also use long polling as a fall back mechanism so not too worried about missing data as in this case the message would end up back in the queue, however I would like to know if it is something we should  be concerned about or a sign we are doing something wrong.

many thanks for your help

Can you post the response you received from the Fitbit API?

"failed to open stream" could mean many things that aren't Fitbit API errors.

Hi Guys

Thanks for looking into this, I haven't seen this error sine December actually. We unfortunately didn't record the response at the time so I can't share it I'm afraid. I think we can mark this issue as resolved.

thankyou
