Backorder Wait Time

I was using Fitbit Zip for a long time now and recently i lost it in transit.  So, wanted to buy one from near by Target or BestBuy but they don't carry it any more.  When i check the Fitbit site it says it is on 8 weeks backorder, is there a new version coming or what is the reason for such late backorder.

I am in the USA.  I checked the website, and the Charcoal color says 6-8 weeks backorder, but Lime and Magenta are available.

 

Where are you located?  Maybe it has to do with where you are? 😞

HI @Prakool - As of now, Fitbit hasn't announced anything relative to the Zip (replacement, discontinuance) and it is difficult to say why there is a wait time for delivery. I did just check some online retailers and found it (charcoal color) available for delivery, so it that's the color you want, you may want to shop around. Good luck!

I am on the East Coast in US. Chatted with Fitbit sales team and even they were not able to give the reason why it is on backorder.  Don't like the other two color options that are available instock.
