I cannot get the battery door to open--tried the Fitbit tool, quarter, dime and nickel. It won't budge. It is 2 years old. Don't want to miss a day of tracking, so should I buy another one to have at the ready? Don't know how I'll be able to change the battery when it gets low. Ideas?

@robwhy if it was me and I didn't want to miss a day without my Fitbit, I'd probably treat myself to a new one.
You try putting something slender down the sides of it to break the seal?

No, not with the special tool or with a coin

Support is who told me to use a coin. Then they emailed me a discussion from the discussion page about using a coin.
I may try them again
