However, I'd check out if your devices is running the latest version of the Fitbit app. If it's not updated, you can do it by following these instructions. Once you have done that, you can continue with the setup process.

By the way, the Dashboard on my computer is working properly, it's the Dashboard on my iPhone, which I refer to more often that isn't showing "steps" and "miles".
