My zip and my computer often do not say the same thing. One or the other (varies which one) does not update when the other one does.

Also, sometimes when I go to bed my zip will say one thing - like 4000 steps. The next morning my computer will say 3000 steps. Why these discrepancies?

Welcome to the Forums @MostAvidReader! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Zip tracker. This sounds odd.

 

If you receive call, text, or calendar notifications on your Fitbit device, your device has a Bluetooth "bond" with the phone or tablet that sends the notifications. This bond prevents the Fitbit device from syncing with another phone, tablet, or computer. You can check out the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync to another device or computer? for extra information. 

 

Also, syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement. To read more about this you can take a look at the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
