Fitbit zip memory vs sync

Hi there,

 

If I wore my fitbit for a week before I sign up for an account and sync my fitbit. Would the data from the previous week be uploaded to the account since the account had only just been activiated?

@Chifley, probably.  I don't know exactly how much memory the Zip has, but most Fitbits will keep detailed data for 5-7 days without syncing and basic data for up to 28 days.

 

Once it is connected to an account, it will sync any stored data, even if it wasn't previously connected to your (or any) account.

@Chifley actually @Julia_G is correct. Your Fitbit Zip will record 7 days of detailed info and up to 30 days of summary data. Take a look at this post by @SteveH explaining this info.
