I love my Fitbit zip, have walked around the world with it. I just purchased number 4, not because there was something wrong with numbers 1,2,3, but because the battery door on these things is very flimsy. After replacing the battery a few times, the small plastic piece that is designed to hold the battery in place cracked. It is apparently impossible to find a replacement for this part, which cannot cost more than 10 cents to make.
I wish I could buy a bunch of these things, but instead I need to shell out 75 bucks for an entire new unit every time this happens. Probably made in China and designed to fail in this way. Capitalism at work!
