First they discontinued the One now the Zip. Not everyone like where a high tech watch. I know I can use the Inspire as a clip, but don't like the small size and swiping. Definitely considering going in another direction!
I have the same issues. I did not receive notice that they were discontinuing the Zip, but it essentially stopped working recently. I own a few for backup and am out for the cost of those as well. Did you receive a notice that the fitbit was not longer supported?

Yes, replaced the battery and went through the chat process. It seems that the Zip should still work but is no longer offered for sale. I have had several other products reach technical obsolescence and technical support. It is good to know that my Zips will still work.
