Is there a way to log my steps into the dashboard if I don't get a chance to synch my Zip with my laptop at the day's end?

I have a similar issue coming up as I will be travelling and won't have my laptop with me. I installed the smartphone app - in my case the iPhone app - and it syncs every day.  Hopefully when I'm back and the app syncs with my laptop, it will pick up all the data.  You might want to try the same thing.

Much obliged Gord, I'll give it a go.

@AnimalAkaWill Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! What my friend @GordMcF advised is totally correct and very helpful since the app and the computer work the same way when it comes to the syncing feature. In other words, if you use the mobile app, the information will be transferred to the platform and automatically will reflect the info on the computer when you log in on a computer. Visit this help page that will help you to get the list of supported devices that will sync with your Fitbit.

Hope this helps and catch you both later! Smiley Happy

If for some reason you are unable to sync for a day or two, don't worry, your Zip has a 7 day detail, and 23 more days of total step count.
