Just completed a long walk, got home and went to sync my Zip, fallen out of the holder.
Reading the message boards it seem this is not an uncommon problem, a design fault? Obviously needs to be rethought. Only had my Fitbit for a couple of weeks, such a shame for a great little product.

Well knock me down with a feather, downloaded the app and went on a hunt. The app certainly worked. Went to all the spots I'd knowningly stopped to take photos. I saw the Zip before I checked the app, but it was showing in the list. So all good, thanks for your advice. Will wear the Zip on the inside of a pocket from now on.
