Yesterday and today my iPad failed to register steps, and the top lines disappeared. I reloaded the app several times, took the battery out several times. There is no record of my steps yesterday or today. All the lines in the app are gone down to the number of calories used. New battery.

@zoomitron Welcome to the Community! It sounds like your Zip got unlinked from your account since you mentioned that all the main features disappeared such as steps. So, please set up the tracker once again to your account by doing the following:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account tab.
  2. Tap Set up a Device
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks so much for the answer. I thought I was doing all that, but following your steps worked this morning. (hehe -- following your steps -- hehe).  I'm quite dependent on my little Fitbit now. It has made exercise very important to me. For some reason it did lose 2 days of steps for me, but I'm back in business now. YAY!

@zoomitron I'm happy to hear that when you followed the procedure it worked. It's so great to hear that your Fitbit has helped to do more exercise. You may want to check the Discussions Board and find more motivation.

Hope you can continue enjoying it and exercisingRobot Happy
