I just got my Fitbit zip and I need to know how to charge it

The Zip doesn't have a rechargeable battery. See the manual for details on replacing the battery:

It's great seeing new faces around. Smiley Happy Heart @SteveH thanks for your help in this thread. Smiley Happy Adding to @SteveH's posts, if you ever have a low battery warning coming from your Zip but you  know you just placed a fresh new battery, then it could be because sometimes the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing. Verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip.

You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here. Good luck!
