Zip has gone crazy

Tuesday, Dec. 20 was a travel day, flying from St. Louis to Fort Myers, Fla., for winter holiday.

Somewhere along the line, my Zip lost its mind.

I was getting some extra steps during a layover at the Atlanta airport, upon getting onto my next flight I checked by steppage, it was at somewhere in the 5,000s.

Didn't do any extra walking the rest of the day, took my Zip off at bed time, around 10 a..m, when I checked it upon waking up Wednesday morning, my steps for Wednesday was in the 50,000s and rapidly climbing while my Tuesday allotment was in the mid-20,000s.

Something has clearly gone amiss. I pulled the battery and will be interested about the outcome.

Any suggestions if the Zip does not rest itself or is it fatal?

Hey there @rink23!

Having the Zip count so many steps sounds really worrying. I would have tried to do the restart like you did.

In order to negate the additional steps that showed on your account, I'd recommend that you go through this post explaining how to manually log a driving activity. It could also be applied to plane flights.

If the restart doesn't help, the best way to go about it would be to get in touch with our Support Team. They will be happy to help you!
