Hello, this is my very first Fitbit Zip and my concern is, how do I charge this? Do I have to purchase batteries for this device?  And, how will I know when the battery is low or needs charging?

Welcome to the forums!

 

The Zip takes button batteries that can be purchased wherever you normally buy them. The Fitbit app and the Fitbit Zip itself will let you know when there is a low battery.
