New Zip Stuck

I just bought a brand new zip from the Fitbit website for the first time.  I opened it, set it up, synced it and it only works for a few seconds at a time.  I tried taking out the battery and resetting it like the forum suggested and it worked for about 10 steps and then the screen stayed at the same number despite continuing to walk.  I am so disappointed with this product - I was so excited to get one 😞

Make sure you are inserting the battery correctly
