Software won't update

I have followed every step.

I have Hotspot and it will start to connect and then it will stop and say failed try again. 

 

This is ridiculous.. this is not my first fitbit. I have never had any issues updating before and I even got new batteries.

Hello @Christy4asl and welcome to the Community.  The last time Fitbit released a Zip update was 2017.  It is v 5.90.  You can check your version by tapping on your profile picture, then your Zip tile.  I'm not sure why you are getting an update notice.  Do you share more details?
