Welcome to the Forums @grandbody! This sounds odd. To make sure that your tracker is working correctly, please restart it.
Please make sure that you have read the information on the help article How accurate are Fitbit devices? Keep in mind that, factors such as tracker placement, dominant or non-dominant wrist, and stride length can all affect the number of steps recorded. Also, if you're pushing a stroller or shopping cart, you might try putting your wrist-based tracker in your pocket.
I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉
