Syncing issues with my Zip

My Zip has not synced in the past 48 hours.  This morning after I got out of work & home from the gym, I tried multiple times to sync up via Main Menu, taken the battery out for time ranging from seconds to minutes (while I folded my laundry).  Normally this resolves any issues I have with it not syncing, but this time it is not helping.  Would anyone have a suggestion on how to get my Zip & iMac to talk again so I can keep making Blue Cross happy?  Man Happy

Update 6/23/2017: The issue affecting syncing to Fitbit.com has been resolved. Thanks everyone for your patience.

I've merged two threads for better visibility.

@Strahd9@KDD987@jo27 We were notified that some users will have trouble syncing to the Fitbit.com Dashboard via a dongle at this time. I'm actively monitoring this situation and will update this thread once I hear more. We apologize for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, if possible, try syncing to the Fitbit.com app via a mobile device or through Windows 10.

@Hoseinca have you set up a Fitbit account and linked it to your Weight Watchers app? If not, this thread may be helpful.

Do I need to reinstall my zip so it can sync properly?

Having the identical problem.  After over a year and a half this is very disappointing.  Have tried everything suggested multiple times - nothing.

Same problem. Can't sync my zip with weight watchers app on my iPhone 7. Very frustrating since it's never synced

I have set up a Fitbit account and linked it to weight watcher, however zero steps are recorded, yet it indicates that the device has been synced

Finally after many hours and many attempts over several days, gave up on my iMac and managed to sync using an Android tablet.

@KDD987 Glad to hear you are back on track.

@Hoseinca You may want to check that your Zip is set up (paired) to your Fitbit account. You can find instructions here

Neither my fitbit charge 2, my HR, my husband's Blaze, nor his zip will sync.  They haven't for days...not with android phones, my windows 10 laptop with bluetooth, not with his laptop with a dongle....NOTHING.  We have uninstalled apps, unpaired trackers, restarted trackers with no luck whatsoever.

I am having the same problem.  Decided it had to be my Zip because it won't connect to either my Windows 10 app on PC or my phone app.  The last time it synced was Thurs, Jun 22 at 3:36.  I've tried everything also (restarting, turning bluetooth on/off, etc) but since it's both apps not connecting, it has to be the Zip has lost its ability to communicate.  It still records steps and keeps the time, it just won't sync.

This has been an ongoing problem with lots of Zip users since March.  Fitbit doesn't seem to be able to fix it, or even acknowledge it.  I've given up.

It isn’t just the zip, it’s the charge 2, the HR, and the Blaze. Between my husband and myself we’ve got these 4 and not one is syncing.

Weight Watchers endorses  FitBit, but everyone  in our group that has one complains of the same problems. Must be junk.

I change the battery even though it was full. My zipbit still isn't synching.
