Hello,
I am having issues syncing my Fitbit Zip to my Android app. I have rebooted the phone, uninstalled and re-installed the app, and restarted my Zip but nothing seems to work. My bluetooth finds the Zip, but, when I connect to the app, it tells me the tracker cannot be found. That said, I have no issues syncing on my desktop computer when I am home. Why can I not sync on my phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I should note that I have successfully synced my Zip via the app on my phone in the past. The problem seems to have arisen in the last few weeks.
Thank you.

A warm welcome to the Community @LynnMC @Rockman1973! @LynnMC I appreciate all the time you took to troubleshoot your Zip. Please try turning off your phone's Bluetooth and then back on, then log out your account and finally log back in and try turning on all-day sync so that your tracker will periodically try to sync with the Fitbit app.
@Rockman1973 I've not hear about an specific issue with Samsung Galaxy S6, the regular syncing troubleshooting steps should fix this issue. Have you try them?
Let me know how it goes, enjoy your 2016!

Best AnswerThanks for the information..I have done all the trouble shooting problems..it still can not find tracker or update...I was in my cafe at work my phone was able to pick up other peoples fitbit device and phone but my own. Not sure if it is a software problem or app problem..this problem seems happening way to much...A co-worker I work with told me that his wife had problems with her fitbit and tracker inside fitbit just stopped working....I am going contact company either just get a need one..its not even a year old...Crazy?
Best AnswerThank you for your response. In addition to my other efforts, I had also tried what you suggested multiple times as well, with no success. However, when I tried it today, it worked. So, at least for now, it is working. Thank you!

Welcome aboard @Cheryl74
! Hmmm... very strange let me say. Have you checked that your Android device is included in the list of supported devices? Is your Fitbit app up-to-date? Have you tried syncing through a computer instead? Did it work?

I needed to confirm all the steps you've done @LynnMC! However, I'd like to know the model of your Fitbit devices, have you checked that they're included in the supported list? If so, but you're still having issues I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support directly so they can do a deeper investigation and see where the issue is coming from, just don't forget to mention every single steps you you've done to avoid getting the same ones. Good luck!
Hey my friend @BrianCrowKnows, welcome aboard! You're right, the Note 5 is not included in the supported devices, so that's why your buddy is not syncing through it. By any chance, do you any other compatible device you can sync with?

My Alta suddenly stopped syncing with my laptop today. Still syncing with my android phone, but it's only showing 814 steps on my laptop, when I just got back from a long walk with over 14,000 steps. I've restarted it several times. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled fitbit. Any suggestions?
