What a pleasant surprise to find when syncing this morning the new blue line that pops up with “having problem syncing “ & fix it choice... didn’t have to use it but certainly glad that Fitbit must be reading our comments.. thank you👍

Just you to manual. Nothing done helps to do automatically syncing anymore. Need to manually sync everyday!!!! So frustrating.....

The same thing has happened to me. My Fitbit Zip has worked beautifully for many years. Suddenly, it has stopped syncing with my MacBook. When I called them the agent told me to turn my Bluetooth off and then back on again. That worked. But because I shouldn't have to do that every time, I just tried to solve it with chat. Chat was horrible! The agent did not listen to me - only gave me links to support which I had already tried. They said my device was out of warranty so they couldn't replace it. I said I wasn't trying to replace it, simply to find a solution. Then attempted to sell me a new Fitbit - at a discount. What a scam. I think I'll start looking for another company that sells tracking devices.

Has there been any response to this? I'm having the same problem...no matter what I try, my Zip will not sync with either my macbook or iphone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, replacing battery. This is maddening...

How did you set it up? I can't find Zip as a choice for new device set-up. When I called Help, they just said Zip is no longer supported and offered to sell me a Charge 4. Zip stopped syncing after I downloaded latest Mac updates. Turning Bluetooth off and on doesn't work any more. Also tried restarting Zip and uninstall/reinstall Fitbit Connect.

I have the same problem with trying to sync my Zip with my MacBook since the Big Sur update. No evidence, but I suspect it is no longer supported by this OS (I want to return to Catalina - Big Sur is a mess - but I stray...). When I try to Sync, it tells me to turn on Bluetooth. Duh! Bluetooth IS ON - and I have turned it off, then on countless times. I have new battery, have several times taken battery out to restart, tried reinstalling and Zip not listed as an option ... Nothing works. Giving up on Fitbit, I'm afraid, since no one can help.
not on my list using Mac's new OS Big Sur (which doesnt allow you to see the entire window of choices anyway).
Having the same trouble with syncing on MacBook (Big Sur update) and phone. Wont recognize that Bluetooth is turned on these devices. I've tried all the tricks. I suspect it is no longer supported with newest Mac OS

My zip will manually sync with my laptop but will absolutely refuse to sync with my phone app. I've tried all of the troubleshooting steps... restarting, unpairing, turning off/on bluetooth, reinstalling the app.... nada.
I have a second zip and that one also refuses to sync. Very disappointing

switched Zip to a Windows computer. Now it syncs. Not a great solution, but it worked.
