Unworn Zip not working

I was wanting to know how long as it works? I haven't used mine in a couple years and now I want to try using it again and I put a new battery in and nothing is happening. So I didn't know if there was some type of reset or if it's just not going to work anymore?

Welcome to the Forums @mandstef01! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. To make sure that is working correctly after being unused you can try to verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip.

 

You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here.

 

Also, make sure you are using a CR 2025 battery and that the (+) sign is facing you while placing it.
