Looking to upgrade from my zip. I do a lots of backpacking and the areas that go to does not always have cell services. I'm not gone for more than a week. I known that when I get into tower service that my zip will sync with my phone. What I trying to do is get away from wearing two products (one to wake me up when I'm out and one thats tell me my steps). I am looking for one that does this - tracks my steps, alarm, clock, tracks my sleep and I'm able to input my workout when I'm at the gym.

Given those requirements, any of them seem like they would work for you! If battery life is a focus (since you'll be backpacking with it, I would think the Flex might be the best bet, since with the least features and essentially no screen it seems to have the longest (actual) battery life of the group. However, the Alta, which seems to be the best parts of the Flex and Charge would also probably be a good pick. You can check your status more easily with it and it still has replaceable bands. The failure part on the Flex was the window on the band, they've done away with that on the Alta, so hopefully less worrying about replacing/warrantying bands. If you want all the bells and whistles, the Blaze seems super exciting, but you'd be paying almost twice as much.

One question I forgot to ask, I'm a waitress, the fitbit that goes on the

They shouldn't have an issue. They pick up less steps when you're pushing something that moves smoothly, like a cart, but carrying a tray or plates shouldn't impact it!

Hey @Triciapop3 @kmgbow thanks for joining us! Fitbit wrist-based trackers have been tested extensively against our clip-based devices like the Fitbit One and Fitbit Zip. That said, because wrist-based trackers are specifically designed for your wrist, if you move your body a lot and not your arms (or vice versa), you may get a slight difference in activity than you would see on your clip-based trackers. Additionally, since you’re more likely to wear your wrist-based tracker 24/7, you may count a few more steps. You can learn more about this at our help article "How accurate are Fitbit trackers?"
