ZIP mileage shows zero

The last 2 days I have used the Zip app on my Iphone 6S.  It shows the pace for each mile but shows that I walked zero miles.  For  example, today the Zip shows I did 2.57 miles, showing my pace at mile 1, mile 2 and .57 miles, yet on the app, it will show the correct steps, time and calories but show 0 as miles walked.   If the Zip is giving me a breakdown of miles and pace in the narrative, why isn't it giving me credit for the actual mileage?   I do get credit for the steps, etc.  I have had the Zip since Christmas and love it but this is driving me crazy since there appears to be no way to edit the walk to show the correct mileage.  Any thoughts?  thanks
