Zip battery draining quickly and not tracking correctly

I bought my Zip in May for a steps challenge at work. It worked great at first but now it's not working . The battery has now been changed 3 times since I've purchased it. It also hasn't been accurately tracking my steps. I've looked at every troubleshooting post already and can't seem to figure out what's going on.

Thanks for stopping by @HeyKayto! I really appreciate all the time and effort you have invested to solve this. In this case, I would recommend (if you haven't done so) checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
