Zip can't be found on device

The battery on my Zip died, and I replaced it. Ever since then I haven't been able to sync my zip to my iPhone 6. I removed the battery and put it back in, I restarted my phone multiple times, I made sure the phone was up to date, I made sure the app was updated, nothing worked. The last thing I did was remove device from the app on my phone and try to sync it, but it could never find the Zip. Then I deleted the app and redownloaded it, and it still cannot find my Zip. The battery is full, the Zip screen changes... I don't know what the problem is. 

I don't have my dongle (left it in another country that I won't be visiting for quite some time), so syncing to my phone is the only way at the moment.
