Zip is not responding , no activity on display.

This is my second day of use for zip, this morning I woke up and tried to take few steps with it but I am unable to to bring it up. As my app indicates I have to tap to awake it, however it's not working. Not sure if something else need to be done or wait for few mins before it becomes active. My forst time woth fitbit device. 

 

Please suggest a solution. Thank you!

Hi @Badal, a warm welcome to the Forums! It's really odd that your Fitbit is not displaying anything, my recommendation now is to take off the battery for a few seconds and put it back in, check if the display shows anything and try to take a walk to see if it counts your steps. If this doesn't resolve the issue please get in touch with our Support Team so they can check why the Fitbit is not working properly and give you a resolution for this matter.

Thank you for responding on my post Marlen,  the resolution you suggested , did work. However it started showing low battery sign now. Not sure if the problem was due to low battery. Anyways it's up and running now.  Thanks for providing the resolution. 😊

I'm glad to know that the steps worked and you're back on track with your Zip now, if the battery is showing a low level you may want to change it, remember that the battery of the Zip last up to 6 months. I would like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you will find great tips and encouragement from other members.

My Zip is not registering activity.  I changed the battery out as the system notified me the battery was very low.  After I replaced the battery, I have 0's showing for steps and distance.  The time is correct but that's about it.  Any idea what the issue may be?

Hey @DelDeb, welcome to the Forums! It's really odd that your Fitbit is not tracking anything, my recommendation is to remove the battery from the Zip for a few minutes and place it again. Once the tracker is on again make a test and if this continues, my suggestion is to contact our Support Team so they can take a look to your account and give you the best solution to get you back on track.
