Hello @Rickyj37, glad to see you in the Forums! My recommendation is to take the battery out the Fitbit for a few seconds and put it back in. If this does not work, please try to change the battery to a new one and see if this helps. If after the previous steps the Fitbit is still idle, please contact our Support Team so they can check in the system why is this happening and give you the best solution for this matter.

Keep me posted with the outcome! Cat Wink

Thanks for the response...I had tried these suggestions, along with a couple others...
Unfortunately, the problem was found to be structural- the smaller metal tab under the battery had broken and the unit was no longer functional. The tracker was beyond the covered warranty.
I did call customer service, which was very helpful, and am receiving a discounted replacement.

I'm glad to know that you're getting a Fitbit to get you back on track, once you get it set it up with your account and everything should be working properly. I would like to invite you to visit our Discussions board where you will find great tips and encouragement from other members.
