I replaced my Fitbit zip battery today. Battery is placed correctly and I have tried with multiple batteries. I have re-set Zip multiple times and this re-sets correctly and after all the smiles will only display yesterday’s step counts and will not display anything else when tapping. My app says that it can not find device and the tracker needs to be set up but when I try to do this, the app can not locate the zip and it is next to my phone which is next to my computer and my Bluetooth is on. I am using a iPhone. This issue appears to be with the zip after battery replacement and not iPhone software update. Help, any suggestions

I recently replaced my battery is no issues..This isn’t much that can go wrong with the Zip.

I spoke to Customer Support and they advised that my zip was no longer responsive, and I would have to replace with another device

I've had this happen before as well. What I've found is that, if I wait a while, it resets on its own. I've also noticed that changing the computer I'm using, sometimes helps-I have no idea why...maybe the computer gremlins at work!
