I love my zip and don't want anything on my wrist so at the moment it looks like my only option sticking with fitbit. I can get almost 2 weeks of battery life out of my zip if I turn off all day sync, however if I do all day sync the battery life is about 3 days.
Is there anything that can be done to have it auto sync but less often? I would be happy with being able to set the update interval.
Also, Fitbit if you listening I want a swim proof fit bit with a clock that tracks stairs that is the size of the zip.

Welcome to the Forums @Moosetracks! I'm grateful for all the time and effort you have invested to solve this.
In this case, I would recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. The process can be followed here.
Also, you can try to sync your Zip using your computer and a dongle. To do so, take a look at the help article How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉
