I went on a long walk today with my FitBit Zip on my hip. When I sync my ap (iPhone 6s) it only updates to 1,244 steps. I'm in a WorkWeek Hustle Challenge and this just isn't fair! How can I get it to update appropriately. This is the first time this has happened, as it has always updated correctly.
On the Account Page, it says "FitBit Zip" "Synced today at 9:01 am" "Version 86" "Battery full"
Below this I have selected "All Day Sync" (it's green, so it's on)
And then below this is "Sync Now" - when I touch that, it says "tap your zip to wake it up" and then it just shows the circling thingy and nothing happens.
For the Mobile Track, it shows it synced today at 4:43. I guess this is my phone? I had it in the puppy stroller instead of on my body, but it still should have registered all of the steps. I also had on Strava which showed 1/2 of my walk (I forgot to turn it on until half way through the walk) was 2.9 miles.
How can I get the Zip to sync to my phone correctly?

I think things may have become confused if you are using your zip to track a walk as well as mobile track and strava. It sounds like the zip tracked the steps just fine but when you sync these were overwritten by mobile track and / or strava. Worse still is that steps not directly tracked by your zip don't count towards badges or challenges.
It should work fine if you use just your zip and don't use mobile track and strava. If you delete the entries for these hopefully your original steps will come back.
