Zip use for Family Group

Why can't I just use a Zip for my kid and add to the family group? Does Fitbit only allow the Ace for Family Group?

Hi @mctc . It’s a matter of hardware and software that allows a device to be designated and added to the family account. Only the Ace and Ace 2 are compatible.

Thanks for the response. That’s a bummer. Had an extra zip and my daughter wanted it. I guess I can just create a separate acct and attach the zip to that acct.
