Zip will not count my steps

I don't know if it's just too old, but my Zip just stopped counting my steps part way through today. I have tried putting it on different places on my body to pick up steps and even stepping with more force but no matter what I do it stays stuck on 2312 steps. I have synced it to my app and I had a look at the battery compartment but all seems normal. Is there a way I can fix this problem?

Hello @Madelephant, it's good to see you around in the Community forums, welcome. 

 

Thank you for all the details about the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your Zip not counting your steps. Could you please confirm if you already tried the restart procedure on your device? 

 

Also, let us know if you're having trouble with any other data not being tracked, or you're experiencing this only with the steps.
