Zip won't reset after new battery

I purchased 2 new batteries, removed the protective sticker, and installed properly.  The step and time won't reset.  Fitbit is less than a year old.

Same here. My husband and I both have fitbit zips and both have had issues synching once a new battery is installed. Plus it always loses steps so when it syncs, I go below my 10,000 step target which is very frustrating. It says the latest software is installed. I think this is fitbit's way of making us buy a newer model.

Same here.  Put in a new battery and now Fitbit Zip won't sync and won't reset.  It continues to track steps and clock continues to run, but it is 11 hours off.  Tried syncing with Win10, Win7, and with Android - no luck.
