Hi I've just bought the Fitbit zip. It connected without a problem on the first sync but needed a firmware update. I tried to update the firmware and had no joy but it also stopped my zip from syncing.
I've followed all the steps shown on the forums and through fitbit's advice but no joy and now it won't even find my zip device at all.
Everything on my phone is up to date followed all instructions such as turning Bluetooth off and on, impairing all other devices, turning phone off and on, turning zip off and on, reinstalling the app, trying from the computer, checking location settings etc. But all to a complete fail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Upon checking with Support I was able to see that you have reach them regarding this. Since you already contact them, the best is to continue working with them. I'm sure that they can help you to get back on track in no time.
In the meantime, you can try logging out of your app and reboot your phone. Once your device is up, log back in to see if this helps. For your update difficulties, check out the help article Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
