How do I set the time?

You can't manually set the time but it should set itself whenever it syncs to your phone or computer. It is also adjusted according to the timezone in your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile

Has your fitbit been through the setup process ok and does it seem to be syncing?

The battery died and I did not use my Zip for a few weeks.  Put in a new battery, but the time is off by about an hour and a half.  Zip time shows 11:20, real time is 12:53.

How to fix this?  I checked settings in Profile & it's correct, Eastern time US  (If it were off just by an hour, I'd attribute it to DST; but it's off by an additional 33 minutes.)

Make sure the device you are syncing with (could be multiple) have that correct time.

Hope this helps 🙂

I'm trying to sync with my computer, which currently states 9:00 PM.
The Zip time shows 7:25.

It had a dead battery for a couple weeks, before I put in a new one a couple days ago.

As @SteveH said, change the time zone in you’re profile here:https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit
