Welcome to the Fitbit Community @jillmygirl. It's great to have you here. Have you manually logged activities like "Walk" or "Run" recently? The steps recorded by your Zip might be overridden by those activities. If necessary, you can delete them to recover your missing steps. To remove an activity on the online Dashboard you can to go Log > Activities and select the trash can next to the activity you wan to delete.
To do it from the Fitbit app in your Android device, go to your Dashboard and tap "Track your exercise". Select the activity you want to remove and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
Let me know how it goes. Hope to see you around more often. ![]()

@Babs21555 Thanks for joining us. @jillmygirl I'm glad to hear that you got your steps back. Manually logged activities like Walking, Running or Hiking actually add steps to your account, so to ensure that your data is not counted twice, the steps and calories burned recorded by your tracker are overridden by the values of the manually logged activity (as long as the manually logged activity has the correct start time and duration).
@Babs21555 I would recommend checking out @vomitofthemind's workaround to resolve the issue with your Zip resetting your steps during the day. If this doesn't get you back on track please be so kind to contact Customer Support. Let them know the workarounds performed so they can further investigate your case and might provide assistance as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience while dealing with this situation.
Keep up the super stepping. ![]()
