Entering Vitamin information

Hi. I'm trying to enter the information of my Vitamins into my daily food log, and it won't acknowledge  any of the info that I'm trying to enter manually.  I tried scanning the bar code first, 2-3 times and it wont register!?! I just recieved my Ver...
