Since updating, my tile with the 250 steps/hour is not updating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and logged in and out of both the app and the website. Thanks.

@rebc  Are you referring to viewing on the Ios app itself?  If so, keep in mind only the top tile scrolls back in history.  The lower tiles (including steps/hr) will only display today's stats.  To see your history for the lower tiles, you need to click on the actual tile to see the history.

Hope that helps~

Welcome to the Community @rebc. Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience by yourself. I recommend double checking if your iOS Fitbit app is updated by following @MarreFitbit's instructions in the How do I update the Fitbit app for iOS? post. Also, you can make a force sync:

1. Tap the tracker's tile

2. Slide down

3. Tap Sync Now

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Hi. Actually it didn't work. I had already updated the app to the latest
version, 2.28. I also deleted it and reinstalled it, and logged in and out
of my account both on my phone and online. I have forced a sync multiple
times. It is still not tracking my hourly steps.

Thanks

Hi,

Just to make sure, I went on my morning walk and used RunKeeper as well as my Fitbit. RunKeeper tracked my (brief) walk at .65 miles but my FitBit didn't assign any steps at all for that time, so clearly something is wrong. Thanks.

@rebc thanks for the update! I see you have posted this a while ago and by now there has rolled out a new version of the firmware. The version 2.29 was released on November 10. To get the most out of your app and tracker I recommend having them updated to their latest version.

I really hope everything is working by now. Let me know how it goes! Cat Very Happy

Hi Mariam,

Thanks for following up! While my tracker is now counting hourly steps
(after updating to 2.29) the tile in the app shows the same number of steps
for every day. Both the app log and the website show the correct number of
steps for previous days but if I scroll to a different date in the app, the
steps are the same as today in the tile. Everything else is correct.

Thanks.

Hi,

Actually it's still not really working because the counter in the app shows
the same number of hours with 250+ steps for every day. The log and the
website are correct; the counter on the dashboard is not.

Thanks!
