No apps in app notification screen since 4.65 update so not getting notification to my watch. Partner and daughter have app version 4.64 and 4.63 respectively and their app lists are full and getting notifications on watch.I can get text notifications but nothing from my ring doorbell or messenger or WhatsApp etc. Any way I can go back to 4.64 until this is sorted?

Hi @Dazsmith34 - this may be phone type related related, but as you say it can also be app version related.

In case you have an Android phone it is almost certainly an app problem, but you can still try logging off, swiping off the active session, and clearing the storage cache.

For an iPhone you need to have a pending notification on the phone and correct phone settings for an app to appear in the app list which a change in app version may have lost its previous selections.

Other people have this issue so your suspicions of a fault in the app are probably correct especially if the above logoff measures don't help.

It’s most definitely an app version related issue as it was all working in app version 4.64 fine. Like I said before I got a ring doorbell notification on my phone but nothing appears in app list to be able to toggle on and off from any app as the list remains blank even though phone notifies me when I get what’s app, messenger, ring doorbell, strava etc but none show up in app list

Thanks @Dazsmith34 , it now seems like a known issue, the bigger question is why these things aren't properly tested before release and why you can't go back to the previous version to resolve it immediately.

Hi Guy, yeah I did report it to support who said it is a much wider issue and technicians are working on it, it’s been well over two weeks since first reported and still no resolution. Very frustrating you can’t just roll back a version especially in this day and age of technology. Thanks for trying to help, btw I’m on iOS not android.

Thank you, @Dazsmith34 - iOS is already more problematic.

The problem is app support is primarily designed to make it easier for the developers, not better for the users, so compatibility and continuity can get lost and bugs get introduced, with users doing the testing, in addition to app roll back being totally missing.

The good news is if you have an older phone that is working you are less likely to get any further app updates that breaks things.

The best solution is to avoid updates altogether if things are working, as you can never go back.

@Dazsmith34   I moved your post to the iOS app forum, a better fit for this issue.  I've seen posts from other users who wrote that their App notification page is blank, too.  I have v 4.65 and I don't have this issue.  So it isn't a universal issue.  Unfortunately, you can't go back to a previous version.

Having the same problem with my brand new versa 4. I did an online chat last week and they are aware of the issue but yet still no revolve

Hi Lisa, same as you chatted to support who are aware it’s a widespread problem. Asked how I’d know when it was fixed and they just said to keep checking app notification screen until you see apps listed again. I’m sure the will role out an app update that will fix it but when this will be who knows.

Yep, same here.  Just updated iPhone ot iOS 26.4 in hopes that would help, but nope.  Notifications still not working.  Open ticket with Google who said same thing: it's a known issue.  If v.4.66 doesn't fix this i'll be fuming even more!

Hi Lisa, if on iOS you need to go into settings, apps then find Fitbit and then change language from English Uk to just English then go into apps list in Fitbit app and see if all back again

You're welcome! And thank you for reporting how you went about it - perhaps all the extra steps of fussing about are unnecessary!

Also fwiw I had this issue before this specific version, and I had the idea based on a post from 2018. So I'm not totally sure that it's only a 4.65 problem! I know the language settings per app are a bit newer and are an iOS thing.

Well at least if I get this error again I won’t bother with support Who have been nothing short of useless and still have a ticket open with me for this issue and it’s been two weeks now, but again thanks for sharing this as it’s worked for me

I’m on iOS 26.4 on an iPhone 14 Pro Max. When I go to settings then apps then Fitbit I don’t have that language option.:( But the workaround of changing the iPhone system language is working for me so far. Fitbit still need to fix this properly though. Thank you! You were a lifesaver 🙂
