A red number appeared on my Fitbit app

A number has now appeared on my Fitbit app?

Does anyone know what this signifies ?

Yes, I get the impression there really aren’t any notifications - one
person got all the way up to the number 9!

I have a Fitbit inspire. This red number is on it and won’t go away. There are no messages (none that I have found anyway). How do I get rid of it?

Someone posted to click the notifications icon (the envelope in the top
right corner on my Charge 3) and then toggle back and forth between
notifications and messages. That did it for me, but not sure it’s working
for everyone. Good luck 🍀!

I have an Inspire and that didn’t work on my iPad app. Nor did it work when
I logged in on the website. Thanks though --

Yeah, like I said, it seems to be working for some of us and not others.
